Berlin Trip 2025
On the 23rd of October a group of the fifth and sixth year history students landed in Berlin. We spent the next couple of days learning about German history and culture. After arriving at the airport, we had an interesting coach drive to the hostel. The next day we visited Sachsenhausen Concentration camp and had a guided tour where we got a dark history of the camp.
Later on, we went to Deutsches Museum where we learned more about WW2. That evening we had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Berlin Party man singing on the streets of Alexanderplatz.
On Saturday we made the trip to the Tropical Island Waterpark where we all got the most out of the experience, whether it was face paint, temporary tattoos, and many rounds of bowling.
On our final day in Berlin, we spent the morning exploring the German parliament. Then had an interesting walk to Checkpoint Charlie and the Berlin wall. Afterwards we made our way to the airport and reflected on our trip. This trip was one for the history books.
