Third Year CSPE – Electing a class president

3 Carroll recently ran their own campaign to vote for, and elect a class president. In CSPE, students have been learning about elections, voting and proportional representation. The class fielded five candidates and each had a campaign team. The class voted anonymously for the candidate they felt ran the best campaign and deserved to win.

It was valuable for the class to see the importance of voting correctly and how vote counting works in Ireland. Well done to Adah Kelly who was democratically elected by 3 Carroll!
