3 Sycamore, Ms. Manning & Ms. Walsh went recently on an excellent tour of Kilmainham Gaol, one of Ireland’s most famous jails. Students were taken on a journey through Irish history and heard the stories of some of Ireland’s famous historical figures, including leaders of the 1916 Rising. The purpose of their visit was to acquire historical knowledge and walk in the footsteps of famous historical figures.
