Physical Education XPO

A huge congratulations to Amy Delaney, Ellen Ryan, Emma Mangan, Lana Mc Keon and Peig Ryan who represented the school in the PE XPO on Wednesday 4th March. The girls from Transition Year did brilliantly on the day, going against 165 other Sports Science projects and winning in two categories, “Women in Sport” and “Heart Health”. The title of the girls’ project was, “Cardiovascular Fitness Testing: Coolmine Step Test. – An alternative cardiovascular fitness test aimed at females who under performed in the Cooper Run”. The project will be displayed in the school and is an interesting read for all.
