Neat Streets Award
May 23, 2017
On May 10th, Coolmine Community School received a Neat Streets award at a presentation ceremony in the Wood Quay Venue in Dublin City Council Civic Offices. Members of the Greens Schools committee described some of the work done by students and staff throughout the year and during the recent Litter Awareness Week to help keep Coolmine green and clean, before receiving the certificate on behalf of the school.
Neat Streets is an anti-litter programme for secondary schools. It is supported by An Taisce and involves students working with their peers to develop initiatives to tackle litter in their schools and local area.
