D15 Fit Schools Fun Run

newsbanner1Dublin 15 Secondary Schools celebrate the €3,000 funds raised for Pieta House & suicide awareness. The schools involved were:

  • Coolmine Community School
  • Riversdale Community College
  • Castleknock Community College
  • Luttrelstown Community College
  • Castleknock College
  • Hansfield Educate Together Secondary School

There were approximately 120 participants in the 5K run. Teachers and students across all year groups took part alongside each other.

Congratulations to Castleknock Community College, who took home the first place teacher medal. Congratulations also to Coolmine Community School who took home first place male student & first place female student medals.

Well done to Coolmine Community School who won the trophy for the school which raised the most funds, at €1,200, and to Hansfield Educate Together Secondary School who came in second place with funds of €700 (with only one full year group…fair play!!)

Coolmine would like to thank ‘FM104’ for providing music & entertainment at the event, ‘Quick Print’ for designing our Fun Run Banner & Logo, the local Garda Unit and St. Johns Ambulance for supporting the event.
