Coolmine Success at Chemistry Olympiad
The Irish Chemistry Olympiad is a Competition for Irish students in the final year of their second level education. The first stage of the event was held in Dublin City University on Saturday 7th March 2015. Students from all over the island of Ireland were invited to take part in the competition. Two students, Julija Paulauskaite and Elizabeth Hannigan, represented Coolmine at this event. A panel of eighteen entrants were selected, and Julija made it to this elite panel!
In the coming weeks, the two top students from this panel will form the Irish International Chemistry Olympiad Team and represent Ireland at the 47th International Chemistry Olympiad in Baku, Azerbaijan from 20th – 29th July 2015 (subject to funding).
