Arts Week 2015 (Monday 19th – Friday 23rd January)

Arts Week 2015 provided a colourful, cultural and musical start to the year! It turned out to be a fun and busy time for staff and students with events as diverse as Yarn Bombing, Contemporary Dance, Glee Club sing-along and the very popular Mad Hatter’s tea party.

A co-operating artist worked with senior students and used basketry skills to create a 3D reading nest.

First years produced sculptures using mixed media and felting techniques which later formed part of a treasure hunt.

Throughout the week staff and students were entertained by busking in the corridors and students exercising their poetry-writing skills.
