Ice-Cream Fundraiser May 2013

A big congratulations to all involved in this year’s First Year Ice-Cream Party in aid of Down Syndrome Ireland. For a donation of €2, first students attended an exciting carnival party where they took part in games such as table ping pong, wellie throwing and cup stacking and enjoyed the ice-cream sandwiches supplied by HB. This year a massive €760 was raised for the charity which was double last year’s total. A special thank you to all those who helped make the party possible especially the Community Care and Meitheal teams who worked tirelessly on the day to make sure everyone had a great time.
