Hip-hop comes to Coolmine
September 1, 2008
Hip-hop, both a music genre and a cultural movement developed in urban communities in the 1970s, has now reached Coolmine Community School.
Ms. Brophy, a new member of staff is also a very talented dancer. She is accomplished in many different styles of dance and hopes to bring the routines and steps of this energetic dance form to Coolmine students. Dance students will take part in competitions throughout the year as well as participating in our annual ‘Talent Show’.
Hip-hop class takes place in the library every Monday at lunchtime (1.00-1.40pm).
Beginners are very welcome. Please see Ms. Brophy or Ms. Byrne if you require further information.
