Boys Basketball in Coolmine

Boys basketball has really taken off in Coolmine Community School over the past two years. Last year under the coaching of Adam De Say and Mr. O’Reilly both the Under 19 and the Second Year Boys basketball teams got to the quarter finals of their leagues and the First Year team won the Community Schools Basketball Blitz in Tallaght.  

What started off in Coolmine as one senior team has developed into four very successful teams. However this would not have been possible without the dedication of the basketball coaches Steven English and Miss Darcy.

This year both the Under 16 and Under 19 teams advanced to the quarter final stages of their respective leagues. The First Year team once again won the Basketball Blitz in the National Basketball Arena in Tallaght and the Second Year team are at the quarter final stage in their league.
