Christmas with the Community Care Team

On Thursday 7th December ’07,  Fr. Tom and the Coolmine Community Care Team organised their Annual Christmas Party for the children of Barnardos.

On arrival to the school members of the team greeted the children and their carers. To the childrens delight a giant Christmas tree with lots of presents underneath was a sight to behold. Before a visit from a very important person, Santa himself, the visitors enjoyed party food and drinks!

True to his word Santa had presents for each child. The room was filled with excitement and anticipation, as each present was unwrapped. Playtime was fun and the party was rounded off with dancing to seasonal pop songs.

The event was a very rewarding one for everyone involved.
