School Calendar 2024/2025
1st Year Orientation Day
1st year Orientation takes place on Friday 23rd August 2024 from 9:30 am to 12:30 am. Students should wear their school PE tracksuits as they will take part in some activities. They can bring a drink and a small snack. A copy and a pen are useful in case they need to write information down on the day. They will have the chance to meet their new classmates and have some fun getting to know their new school.
School Uniform
- The Coolmine CS school uniform can be ordered online from Grants at the following link: Coolmine uniform online orders
- Grants also have a shop where you can buy the uniform in-store. It is located here: Opposite Go Kids Go, 121 Porters Rd, Coolmine Industrial Estate, Blanchardstown, Dublin, D15 HW0X
- The Coolmine CS PE tracksuit is available from K Sport
KSport will have a pop-up shop in the school on Saturday 29th of June. The time for the pop-up shop will be emailed to all parents.
Please note that students are expected to wear full school uniform each day. On the days that students have PE, they are permitted to wear the school PE tracksuit only.
School Books and Stationary
The new Junior Cycle Schoolbooks Scheme, introduced for the 2024/25 school year, will remove the cost from families of funding schoolbooks and core classroom resources for all Junior Cycle students in post-primary schools in the Free Education Scheme. Parents are advised not to purchase any books, copies, or stationary and please note that collection dates for books and stationary will be emailed to you when the dates are confirmed.
