Clothing Collection and Swap: SEAI Competition

In support of their entry in to the SEAI’s one good idea competition TY students held a clothing collection and swap on 13th Feb. The event was promoted and run with the help of the Global Citizens group. During lunch break students browsed through the donated clothing and any items that weren’t snapped up will be donated to local charity shops. The students want to stop fast fashion by encouraging people to give previously owned clothes a new lease of life. A second collection and swap will be planned for later in the year.
