The Coolmine Young Reporters for the Environment competition is being run in conjunction with Green Schools. Please see details below and on the competition poster here.

To enter the competition, write an article reporting on a local litter or waste related issue. Email your entry to roconnor@coolminecs.ie or give it to Ms O’Connor (D34)

Tips

  1. Identify a local litter or waste related issue
  2. Research your chosen issue and try to find a solution
  3. Write an article to inform others

Rules:

  • Closing date is Wednesday 6th March 2019
  • Articles can be no longer than 1000 words
  • Articles may include one original photograph

Prizes:

Senior Prize

  • (TY, 5th Year, 6th year): €75 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher

Junior Prizes

  • 2nd & 3rd Year: €75 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher
  • 1st year: €50 Blanchardstown Centre Voucher
