Coolmine Welcomes the Environmental Protection Agency and RTE
On Wednesday 21st February, Helen Bruen of the Environmental Protection Agency visited Coolmine CS students in their Eco Studies class as they prepared their entries for the 2018 ‘The Story of Your Stuff’ competition. Helen took the opportunity to congratulate 5th year student Niall Wade, whose video ‘The story of an orange’ was shortlisted in the competition last year. The Story of your Stuff is a competition, run by the EPA, which asks students to unleash their creativity to tell the story of ordinary materials in an interesting way. Students pick an everyday object, research its origins and visually tell its story, through video, a storyboard, a comic book illustration or anything else they can think of.
