Rainbows Programme at Coolmine
As part of the holistic approach to Pastoral Care adopted by Coolmine Community School, Rainbows will be offered to a number of first and second year students.This programme will be offered to students during one lunch break per week over a period of six weeks by staff members trained by Rainbows Ireland
Rainbows offers a free and confidential programme which supports young people affected by loss as a result of bereavement, separation or divorce. The ‘Rainbow Spectrum Programme’ is specifically designed to accommodate the needs of students in first and second year post primary school. Rainbows is widely recognised as providing valuable support to young people who may be experiencing emotional unrest as a result of bereavement, separation or divorce.
If you feel your son/daughter would benefit from this supportive programme and would wish for him/her to be considered for the forthcoming Rainbows Programme, please contact the school for an application. Please be assured that all matters pertaining to your son’s/daughter’s well-being will be handled both sensitively and in confidence.
