You Raise Me Up – Celebrating 40 Years of Education

During the academic year 2013/14 Coolmine Community School celebrated 40 years in education. As part of the overall celebrations, Mr Tully, with the assistance of Ms Nolan facilitated the Music department to record the classic song ‘You Raise Me Up’ (written by Brendan Graham and Rolf Lovland)  The Coolmine Community School Memorial Choir and Orchestra were recorded in room A15 over the course of a few weeks until we captured the perfect take!  The song was also performed live by the students at the memorial service in November 2013.
