Success for German Debate Team

Congratulations to our Transition Year German Debate team who have progressed to the quarter-finals. 

The motion was “Es sollte keine reinen Mädchenoder Jungenschulen mehr geben” (There should be no more single sex schools).  Our team proposed the motion while St. Joseph’s Secondary School Rush opposed the motion. 

In Round two the Coolmine team beat Saleseian College Celbridge after we were given a by in Round one.  The motion was “Das Junior Certficate ist ist ȕberflȕβig” (The Junior Certificate is obsolete).

We wish the team members Alex N, Alex F, Elisabeth, Haley (captain), Daniel and their mentor Mr. Kajic the best of luck in the upcoming quarter finals.
